This is the best HD camera you can get for under 10K. I've mixed the images with a Varicam 2700 on a movie screen. In many shots, the 110 looked better! No joke. Visit my channel to see some other stuff shot on the jvcgyhd110. Thanks for the amazing footage. I think I'll go film some macro stuff!

FINALLY a decent test footage using the greatest cinematic cam under 10k. The jvc gy100 series is the best out there. Thanks for posting such HIGH QUALITY!!!
I'm highly impressed with the macro feature.

thinking of getting this camera and i have a technical question.... how do you go about importing clips? can you do it stright from the camera?

this camera records 24p onto mini-DV tape. you import/capture through firewire just as you would be capturing footage from any mini-DV camera. of course, you would need to make sure you have the right codec that handles 24p @ 720 HDV. Premiere and Final Cut should be compatible nowadays.
