Kite Wing RC Airplane

Kite Wing RC Airplane.
Built from a sheet of foamboard, a delta wing kite, some scraps of foam and a few sticks of hot glue. This is the maiden flight, and I filmed it while flying it with the other hand.

You have to experiment with the angle of the kite vs the fuselage. It might work as a glider (non-powered), but this does not seem to be the ideal type of wing in terms of efficiency.

I have tried it with a camera, and it was designed specifically to carry a camera payload.

I like it - A lot. But do you think it would work if I made a fuselage and stuck a kite wing on it and threw it off a tower or something.

Have you attach it with a small digicam to take still aerial photos? It would make a great low cost aerial photo platform.
