Saturday was a nationwide protest againg the passing of Proposition 8 in California and myself, Marissa, Lucy Lawless, Jason and a bunch of our friends went down to City Hall to participate!! A truly inspirational experience.
(Yes, the use of The Killers song is intentional, to shed light on the fact that not ALL Mormon followers are as bigoted as some of their leaders)

Bradon Flowers is Mormon I voted yes I am sure he did......the main purpose of anti prop 8 voters is EQULITY but for just them......Mormons and other religious chruches are just excercising their beliefs and faith is that wrong where is the equlity in that.....

no no no, you're right. i found that information on a website and then i wrote that comment only to find out after future research that it isn't true. it's just that he gives a lot of money to congressman and lobbyists who are for anti-gay rights legislation.

Question: I totally respect your artistic choices for your videos. That being said: Are you aware that Brandon Flowers from The Killers is a devout Mormon? Should that matter?

Hey there! i am aware of it. I actually wrote something about it in the info box. Brandon Flowers has denounced Prop 8 and says he doesn't believe in it AND has gone on to say that he is inspired by almost only gay musicians and therefore can't support the Prop. I took that in to consideration and it was PART of the reason I chose the song. That and it's just a damn good song! Haha
