PTL / Heritage USA TV Telecast & Studio- June 24, 1988 Vid #3

In this 3rd video I've uploaded which relates specifically to the Heritage USA TV studio, I had to cut the video short. As with a number of my old videos stored on old videotape from the mid to late 80's, some of those tapes are now showing signs of degradation. So, in some areas, the image will drop out entirely from the video, yet the audio always remains audible.

So, bear with it, as you watch this video, as the image repeatedly drops in and out, seemingly with much quicker regularity as the time progresses.

Again, these videos were shot on June 24, 1988 inside the television studio at Heritage USA. I found it very interesting to watch how a live telecast was put together, and these videos kind of show you just how it was done back in the late 80's.

I do not know what is causing the annoying stuttering sounds heard during the video. To me is sort of sounds like a woodpecker pecking away.

At 1:00 in to the video, the cameras are beginning to jockey in to position for a woman who is standing in the audience not too far from me, who is preparing to sing.

The camera crew takes advantage of times such as prayers to get themselves in to position to focus on whatever is coming next in the show.

I do not know who the woman is who is singing in the audience, or even if she is even singing at all. She may be lip-syncing for all I know. My camera could not pick up her voice, and she was merely feet away from me.

I would have stopped the video upload sooner if it hadn't been for the current speaker talking about the bankruptcy proceedings that PTL had found itself in, thanks, of course, to the illustrious Jerry Falwell.
