1999 Buick Park Avenue New Sound

Just installed a new head unit and 6 x 9 rear deck speakers. Head Unit: Kenwood KDC-MP345U. Speakers: Kenwood KFC-6982IE

Any problem with clearance in the back? I have a 96 and a lot of head units are 1/2 to 1 full inch too deep, unless I cut out the bracket and make some more room. Haven't decided what to do with it yet.

@silvermediastudio sorry that i didnt reply earlier. my head unit fit in fine..the wires are really hard to keep in the back because there isnt much room left, but it fits.

@iGeorge12 Right on, thanks.. I might pick up the same or a similar Kenwood unit then. The Park Ave is a smooth ride, it's my daily driver, just have to ignore friends when they call me grandpa haha.

is the amp in the back for the speakers or is that for a future sub

the amp was there originally for the stock speakers and so i just hooked up the new speakers to it

@KungFuCactus9 it makes my subwoofer sound distorted and my amp heats up too i have a vid of my old car with a sony head unit that sounded cleaner and my amp didn't heat up

btw i changed my mind and spent a bit more for the kdc-mp445u
