i play the bass in a busy fashion on this song because there are only two of us, and i think it fills up a lot of the missing ensemble. but thanks for the constructive criticism. ironically, when we play out live, i get tons of compliments on the bass playing. to each his own.

I have to agree with the other comments. If you played the bass less like a Dead song and followed a strong clave', it would be more rhythmically effective and sound more authentic. Not to mention the vocals are very monotone and lack dynamics. Otherwise, nice performance.

I agree, sometimes less is more. The Bass Line is way too busy for this song. Otherwise, great tone!

There's no doubt that you guys are very, very good. I would like to make a suggestion, and that is that the bass playing, although excellent, is perhaps a little overdone inasmuch as it is actually distracting from the overall effect. The bass guitar itself is completely inappropriate, and detracts from the visual appearance.
