What a sweet lady. My wife and I had the opportunity to meet Violet Hensley at Silver Dollar City last year (2010) while she entertained folks during Silver Dollar City's 50th. Anniversary. We got the chance to listen to her play, talked with her and seized the moment for a hug captured with a few photos. We will always cherish those moments. We even bought the Beverly Hillbillies Episode that featured Ms. Hensley as we adored her so and knew that we had met living history.
