Let's Play Metroid Fusion OR "Being Adam Malkovich": Chapter 1: Prologue

Okay, took a little break, yes, but I'm back with another exciting game vid, this time, of Metroid Fusion on the Game Boy Advance

Metroid Fusion is the 4th in the series and so far chronologically the last. The plot goes like this:

Affter the events of Super Metroid, Samus has been hired by the Galactic Federation to accompany a science team to the Metroid's homeworld of SR388.

While on the planet, Samus eliminates one of the local wild life, but something's amiss as its body turns intoa gelatinous yellow blob that immediately sticks to Samus' body. She thinks nothing of it at first, but then- BDSI;FGSDUIAGBHJABGJASGAISGBASPOTATO

As Samus is headed back to Federation HQ, she falls unconscious, due to the strange blob mmoving to her central nervous system, and her ship crashes into an asteroid belt with her on it. THankfully,a Deus Ex Machina launches itself from the ship, saving our intrepid hunter. The Federation immediately pick her up. Sadly, her Power Suit's become so integrated into her body that it can't be removed except by extensive surgery and with that blob, now known as X Parasite, infecting her, her chances of survival are low. Thankfully, Deus Ex Machina shows up again, this time in the form of a vaccine made out of Metroids. Metroids were the primary hunters of the X back on SR388, but ever since Samus genocide'd them all back in Metroid II Return of Samus, the ecosystem's all fucked up. Anyway, the scientists slot the vaccine into her and the Xs in her body are eliminated. Our bounty hunter is saved!

But we can't rest yet. Given a new ship (And a new look), Samus is told of something bad going on at the Biologic Space Labs research station orbiting SR388. Acting as her CO is her ship's onboard computer, which Samus affectionately names Adam after Adam Malkovich, a GF fleet commander (Learn about him here: http://metroid.wikia.com/wiki/Adam )

But as SAmus further investigates the BSL station, she finds someone...or something dogging her footsteps at every turn. The X have taken the fragments of Samus's suit and created a fully functional facsimile of her, called SA-X (Technically, she came before Dark Samus but yeah)

Thats the story over with. You'll also see a little bit of the gameplay. The gameplay of Fusion is surprisingly more linear than previous Metroids. You usually stop at the navigation rooms dotted around the maps, where Cyber-ADam gives you your next orde3rs.

Metroid Fusion is one of the greatest titles in the Metroid series. It had so many twists and turns...it was like a crazy roller coaster ride from beginning to end!

Great Game, This one Really Introduced me to The Metroid Series(This Along with Metroid Prime and Unlocking The Original Metroid in Prime That Is).

Dispite it being a little bit more liner, This is one of my favorite Metroid Games, The Fusion Suit, The Music, And The Setting is great. Now all that needs to be done is to wait for Metroid 5, Whenever that will ever happen. :p
