I show you how to eat a salmon head. Salmon head has lots of vitamins, and normally in our culture we do not eat the heads of fish. We are missing out on important foods that will make us healthy. Eating Fish Heads is in alignment with Indigenous wisdom as described by Weston Price. http://www.westonaprice.org
And see my natural health website, about ways to help heal from illness. http://www.yourreturn.org

Update: You can eat the king salmon eye's. Not ever fish has eye's that are healthy to eat.

  • Do you eat the fish organs? If so, how?

  • You can make them into fish cakes, tastes good. Fry them, sautée them, marinate them. Same way you would eat the flesh meat.

  • Where can I get one? Seriously. I'm very into Price-Pottenger stuff, in our nutrtional practice, we subscribe to those ways, but I don't know where I can get a fish head, it looks delicious and I want one.

  • Ask your local fish distributor, or try different Asian Supermarkets.

  • How long did the salmon head take to bake?

  • Hi, I cannot remember, the same time it takes to bake a regular salmon. Something like 10-15 minutes at 325 or 350.

  • Tasty!! Try cooking the head with spices as mild or hot curry, all sorts. Fish head is nice!!!!!

  • Yeah that's some real stuff right here! And it's delicious as well! Bought 7 king salmon heads(all they had) in the supermarket recently, made great nutritious fish soups!

  • the eye is the best

  • The eyes is eatable and it's high in Omega 3.

  • he baked it

  • not anymore. You're talking ancient stuff

  • Yes, the fish eyeballs are eatable. In the Chinese tradition, only the favorite son can eat fish eyeballs since it has only two small eyeballs compare to the whole fish. It was a saying that if a son was kidnapped, then a cooked fish will set as tester to see where this son's chopstick's landed so one can tell how valuable this son is in the family and determine the ransom.

  • thanks[=

  • That looks delicious. Most people waste way too much of the meat.
