The gun for example, looks very 70/80s design and material, it try's to look spacey, but in a 70/80s kind of way, the same with the dodgey picture's wich all could be falsified.

I agree, the weapon looks dated, but isn't it reminiscent of a Flash Gordon type device and who gave us those ideas? If the Aliens are influencing our thoughts and imagination as suggested then isn't this proof towards this. The reality is the same as our imagination!
