I wouldn't categorize pac as a brawler and I don't think JMM is smarter than him. he just has great timing which counters speed effectively. I don't think JMM will school him. I'm not even a big pac fan but u must be a JMM fan to use the word "school" in any association with their fights. all their fights were close, don't discredit pac. if pac is more focused (and he should me) JMM nd yourself are in for a surprise. How many times has pac put JMM down? nd JMM put pac down how many times?

I apologize for replying in a somewhat hostile manner. It's just that I encounter so manny JMM dick riders who are so subjective when they judge this rivalry it makes me sick. Based on ur response I now see u're one of the few who is actually objective. respect.

I too am a boxing fan & neither one of these fights is my favorite, just good guys for the sport...the best rivalry in this age of boxing.

I know your comment is old, I know he did not schooled him, I know he "almost killed him", is just an exagerated way to represent the way he put him to sleep. I never said he schooled him and there was no need for you to say my comment was stupid.

I know what JMM said, and to tell the truth, I'm Mexican, and I love the way JMM fights, but that does not implies I hate Manny, in fact, I consider myself a boxing fan, and a Manny fan too.

It was NOT a hater comment... just a comment

he did indeed minus the killed him part. Really? It's called a knockout, not murder by fist....pacquiao was far from dead man...kind of a stupid thing to say.

The comment that u replied to is obviously very old but when u look at the full 6 rounds it was hardly a "schooling"....sure JMM got the well deserved KO cause he set it up. BUT right from the start pac began to pop JMM with flush lefts. Even JMM himself said pac could have ended it at the end of 6th or into the 7th.

2 times, in the same fight and almost killed him. There you have it.

Q: in your medical opinion, what specifically is taking testosterone going to help you do in the sport of boxing?

A: Dr. Ronald Kamm: It makes you stronger. You have faster recovery from injury. In a fight, if you were hit you might recover faster than if you weren’t on steroids. It also raises the boxer’s level of confidence, and his appetite for risk.

I was suspect of JMM using test & reading this amazed me...he exhibited improvements in ALL of these areas. Esp. compared to the other fights

yeah that poker face is more like a smile or a pissed off face haha. I respect your opinion man but I dunno how much u have dissected this fight. Since I was suspect of PEDs, I broke this fight down in slowmo, with no sound, etc. In the 2nd rnd he took a left cross identical to the one that knocked him down in fight 2 & then another flush left & was not fazed...in fact he shook his head. There are things that I heard from a doctor that intrigued me...I will follow up with quote in next comment.

I understand where your coming from but its not like JMM took the shots and just walked through them. You could see the impact of the punches and he took them well. Power and chin is very hard to improve but Marquez has taken shots from bigger opponents and still come back fighting. He always had good recovering power and in 3rd fight he took some of Pacquiao's shot very well. You should know being a boxer that even if your hurt you never show it to your opponent. Sometimes they use a POKER FACE.

It's not so much the power that shocked me...it was the shots that JMM took & hardly blinked. I watched the fight in slowmo & he took more flush lefts in the 6 rounds of the 4th fight than he did in any of the previous 12rnd fights. I box myself & have learned that gaining punching power is VERY hard, just like your ability to take a punch. These are hard things to improve on & I saw JMM improve on both within 1 year. I've used PEDs many times & JMM showed ALL the signs u'd expect.

I know your not a Pacquiao fan, I could care less for who you go for. But I'm an amateur boxer myself and if you look at JMM record he has more knockouts than Pacquiao. I could also say the same for Pacquiao having the kind of power he has from starting from Flyweight and still having destructive power in Welterweight. I don't think Pacquiao is on PED but if Pacquiao can move up in weight and still have power then why not JMM? The shots that landed on Pac were beautiful timed counter punches.
