i totally disagree with that..i believe your desire to explore comes from God..the more you uncover the more you become to konw God and his infinite wisdom...

consider: thousands of years ago God gave us 300 prophetcies..all fullfilled (propability is astronomical); space,time and matter is finite..yet God told you he is fully transcended (3 deminsional); GOD told you he framed the world by his words. no need to go on ..research it for yourself..prove it before you claim it

I really like your unbridled scientific enthusiasm. I can't believe that Comfort would accuse NASA of wasting money. Whatever the outcome, we will be able to formulate a great deal of knowledge about Mars even beyond the life/no life question. Good job NASA and its scientists.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm not a science professional, but given the lunacy of people like Comfort, Cameron, Hovind, VenomFangX, etc.., there can never be enough proponents or too enthusiastic of proponents for science and the scientific method.

sadly, as I mentioned in the vid, I wouldn't be surprised to hear creationists dismiss the mission (fear of not being the only ones in the universe?)...and sure enough when I went to Phil Plait's blog, that's exactly what I found.

Religion was used as a evolutionary process to get humans from point A to point B. Now we understand many things we do not need this type of psychology. Science is the truth that will prove or disprove God.

We NEED MORE experiments, more NASA funding, and more scientists, and definitely more research into the universe via probes etc...
