Klaus Schulze - Echoes Of Time (Complete)

The sizeable 'Echoes of Time' comes in at just under forty minutes!!! It has a completely different nine minute introduction to 'Bayreuth....' prior to the arrival of the familiar sounding sequences. For the rehearsal there are some slight differences in the mix and sounds used, but for me it lacks the real polish of the finished item. That said, do bear in mind that this is a massive slice of recorded rehearsal work, not originally meant for release at all, and yet it's amazing, purely by way of the fact that Klaus again turns in a flawless performance.

In some ways, I prefer this to the original Bayreuth. It adds a bit more "Irrlicht" vibe to the mix in that intro, and I like how the sequencer stands out, compared to the original which has the sequencer lower in the mix.

I tried to buy the Japanese (mini - lp) version of this album from cdjapan.com but they were sold out & I was told that this album is now out of print... So I ended up buying the SPV - edition from Germany & it is excellent... I was not disappointed at all...

Thanks for this music that I purchased the spv version on CD, your  video is more spartiate, maybe the animation will be for later, I better like this slow coming intro, like the fact you don't hear this ending explosion, this fade out is much more convenient...

Most excellent of you to post this. Thank you. I love seeing how great, iconic pieces of art evolves, and this is certainly one of them, a groundbreaking modern masterpiece. As much as many KS admirers appreciate his work, the rest of the world has underappreciated the work of this genius of our time.
