I thought my grandmother using the sturdier swizzle sticks/cocktail stirrers was a neat, but this is cool too. And easier than cutting and then gluing lengths of dowel down. >_<

@MeraGal You wouldn't buy the casings only. My husband does target practice and these are left over. They usually get thrown away, but I thought they would make good miniatures or something.
