  • How come you neurologists never mention MAST, ASK, ATLANTIS-A and B? Oh wait, that's right, because those TPA studies were stopped early because it was killing people. Funny how that's not mentioned in this piece. The evidence that tPA is beneficial comes from only 2 positive studies that have both been criticized heavily from medical statisticians. There have been 11 studies on tPA (4 clearly negative, 5 Neutral). Helen, you got better... Have you ever heard of a TIA? Happens every day.
