Why Protest Tar Sands?

A massive mobilization of people from all over North America will converge on Washington DC to demand the end to the world's largest destructive dirty energy project. Meanwhile behind the scenes, artist, Cesar Maxit, along with the crew, manufacture the hand made silkscreen posters to be used in during the demonstration. Conceptualizing the design is no easy task, but Maxit has it figured out. In an industrial artist studio Maxit unpacks the process which is then inter-cut with some of the best films, newscasts and videos about the subject.

We need to stop using oil and petroleum products to stop the demand for oil since it's OUR demand that fueling the need for oil.

Get rid of Automobiles and computers, TVs, heating systems, Airplanes...

Humanity needs a new direction!!! Ever since we discovered Fire, we've been "destroying" our planet so maybe its time we .... um...... um...... yeah.

Give us an alternative instead of bashing the sh1t outta what we already know . Today's luxuries come from Oil in some form, at some stage.

how do I help spread your shirts and P.R. in the Detroit area I have a couple places for consignments?- We suffered the worst tar sands oil spill in history in the Cerseco dam, Tallmadge Creek and Kalamazoo River and Enbridge and EPA are in bed, and have put this story to bed and I dont know what to do as one person in the "D" I post John Bolenbaughs work on my F.B. page all the time and no bites this story needs to be reflected from the Mountains so even Sheeple souls see it! plz help our sick!

check out h2oil very good doc made in canada...the tailing ponds do leak....but the numbers are way off....
