The function of the Knitting Board is different from the Knitfty Knitter. The weaving is a little different. With the Knifty Knitter, you weave yarn in a e-wrap.

You might want to try making that scarf with a circular knitting machine, either the Innovations or the Addi Express Kingsize. Time for making such a scarf on either machine is significantly less, and less of a problem if you have carpal tunnel syndrome.

Thank you so much for posting these videos! This year I wanted to make a rugby stripe scarf with a prep school patch as a Christmas gift for my sister. So I bought a knitting board thinking that it seemed like something that I could learn how to do quickly... Alas, the written instructions were much more confusing than I had originally anticipated.
