Imho Sanae's theme is rather nice, I don't know why people regard it as "crap", as you say.
Nearly every Touhou music is excellent, but there are different opinions due to musical style I suppose (Faith is more rock/metal...)
Nevermind, I think that extra stages' themes are clearly forgotten because of their bosse's theme, and because they are less... powerful, beautiful, I don't know...
To me, the Septette is still the best =)

@Donqco Apart from the fact the Sanae's theme is regarded as utter crap, while her stage theme is one of the more popular. But yeah, I completely agree. It's like Okuu (whose boss theme is about as popular as UN Owen right now), and how her boss theme completely over shadows her stage theme, and it's mostly the same for almost every final boss, or stage 5 boss (Youmu, Reisin, Shou, Mononobe, and Orin). In fact, I'd be willing to say that the stage themes are the best in all of Touhou.

I mean, U.N. owen its the Touhou emblem, you might hate flandre or not, but you can't deny that fact.
And in a matter of fact, this song isn't even bad, quite good actually, too bad it was overshadowed by the monster U.N.
Kinda reminds me to Mountain of Faith, and how Stage 5 song was shadowed by Sanae's theme.
