actually only one member of hijak is in the so called we could be astronauts if you enjoyed the piano, harmonica and vocal elements of this band hijak oscar check out Fox North Coalition as front man Tim Fox And pianist and general genius Carl Hetherington play major roles in bringing you sludgy swampy dirty blues rock to your ears.

@rensbitterhalf Unfortunately Hijak Oscar disbanded late last year as a result of creative differences. However, some members did reground in a band called "We Could Be Astronauts"

Did this band ever get singed ? in an ideal world they should be on tour with the howling bells , primus with Tom Waits stepping in for guest vocals every now and then . but as we live in a crappy version of the matrix they would be stuck with that fat girl with no original thoughts, a teenage comeover and headlined by a madona sing-alike dressed in spam ... , Life in this time line is fricking depressing !

Man, it's nice to see everyone appreciating the Hijak as they should; my mate Mark is the bassist and I've been telling him that his band are light-years ahead of the stuff in the charts AND the oh-so-not-at-all 'alternative' scene.
