@sweiland75 i didn't say they didn't. But thats the thing, the NDP thinks they're the only party that cares about equality between men and women, thats how they act at least. The liberals care about equality of men and women just as much, its just that liberals actually realize that men and women ALREADY have equal rights, the NDP doesn't. And the 1st woman PM was a conservative
@sweiland75 (im all for taxing the rich but not AS MUCH during harsh economic times because that doesnt make any sense. The NDP put ideology before facts and reality)
Also the conditions in native communities are NOT good. The NDP wants to continue doing what weve already been doing for far too long now.
The biggest thing that i disagree with is their foreign policy. They think islamic jihad isnt real and terrorism is really our fault to begin with and we shouldnt protect ourselves
@sweiland75 i just dont agree with much that they stand for. im studying physics right now in university and i wanna make sure i find a job when im out. they believe in taxing coorporations to the point that they can no longer compete, the private sector will collapse with the NDP in power. we wont have anything left in the end to fund our unions
I dont support their views towards women.i think men and women are equal and women have had equal rights for a long time already.
@Freethinker12341 I think your wrong in this area, Canadian Conservatives aren't the same as American Conservatives, Harper is a Conservative by Canadian standards, but he still believes that government should have a role and involve itself within the economy, for instance his Canadian Economic Action Plan is pretty much textbook Keynesian economics, and the Plan clarifies government involvement and stimulus into the economy. Canadian Conservatives still believe in reform Liberalism.
@DrewMC36 i'd agree with what you have to say, i for instance am entirely a secularist, but i voted for Harper, because i agree with his Economic action plan, tough on crime attitude, good trade relations with foreign countries, and the revealing of the tax burden on Canadian citizens. Canadian Conservatives and American Republicans are still quite different, due to the political climates of our countries individually. I'm a Conservative because i believe government should tax moderately.
@Freethinker12341 You think that people defending Harper are "pathetic." He got voted into parliament just the same as a Liberal or NDP'er would get voted into parliament, being chosen by Canadians. A democratic country is lead by it's people, and is it's people, so Canada is thus a "pathetic" country, I don't agree with this, but you are stating this.

@Freethinker12341 I don't know where you get the idea that they consider men and women as unequal.

If the NDP does not win the next election, Canada is screwed.

@BBQFanNo1 Your only reason to vote against the Liberals was their introduction of the metric system? LMFAO!

@Freethinker12341 What scares you about the NDP?
