This Fender FSR Standard Telecaster is one of a limited run of standard Teles designed for a vintage look and hot-rodded tones. A butterscotch blonde Ash body gives this FSR Tele a Nocaster-like appearance, as well as an old-school Tele bite. The vintage-style ashtray bridge with brass saddles is essential for those twangy 50's tones, delivered with punch and clarity by a set of Hot Tele single coil pickups. Roy Buchanan-style volume swells and tone-knob wah sounds within easy reach with this FSR Tele's reversed control plate. The neck is a modern "C" with a 9.5" radius maple fretboard, a modern shape suited to fast runs, singing sustain, and big bends that don't choke out.
