Yea 95% of the guns come from out side of New York city because they are bought ILLEGALLY!!! Guess what no amount of gun regulation is going to change that. I mean its pretty near impossible to own a gun of any type in any of the five borrows and guess what crime is definitely higher than many places where law abiding citizens are allowed to carry to protect themselves I mean its just common sense.

The pro gun lobby dont really care about the police. Its sad but from what I can see, I cant find any info on what the NRA is doing in the cause to help our police. Maybe I havent looked hard enough?

especially when you consider that 'metal storm' guns will inevitably filter down to the general community. these are electronically fired weapons that do away with mechanical firing mechanisms and can fire at incredible speeds (up to a million rounds per minute). i know about these weapons as i had shares a while back. an australian invention they are in trials with the pentagon (ASX share code MSX) metalstormDOTcom
