Waste to Waves - a surf focused recycling program from your friends at Sustainable Surf, that seeks to turn waste into sustainable surf gear.
Our first campaign is centered around producing "greener" surfboards, and is designed to let you drop off all your unwanted "styrofoam" packaging materials at your local CA surf shop, to get incorporated into a new recycled "eco-friendlier" surfboard blank.
It's made possible by our sponsors REEF and SPY, and in partnership with surfboard blank manufacturer Marko Foam and the Surfrider Foundation (in support of their "Rise Above Plastics" program for local CA chapters)
