  • @yahighness yes this movie requires a box of tissues -- or two. This set-piece could have been syrrupy if not for the transcending acting of Catherine Deneuve. I feel her pain. It makes her later decisions all the more perplexing. I love her heart-felt rendering of "J'taime three times in a row (I know she is miming.) I also find that as the train pulls out of the station the music escalates in dramatic intensity. I come back to this piece so often. And I cant help but cry occasionally.
