California, where Silicon Valley is has the highest number of immigrants - 25% and CA has the worst economy in the country. Silicon Valley is a wasteland. Where are all the great economic benefits and boom these Asian workers promised us when we began letting them in 1998?

5,000 workers = 5% of their workforce... lol... not a big deal.

Go Apple. F**** MS. Simple!

Yes, there ar eplenty of Americans who can do this yet there are also great brains who AMerica needs and because of their xenophobia will lose them to other countries:
Didn't Americans accept Einstein, Wernhert von Braun, and others?

Oh yeah. What about the 'indian' operating system? I've never seen a software product made by india, china, russia. Name one please, that is actually good.

deport all h1b visaholders IMMEDIATELY to solve this problem. I like the fact that companies who hire h1b visaholders are dying (microsoft as an example.). I love it.

I am employed because unlike you YOUNG morons, I have experience and you don't. Your diapers are leaking. Indians destroy everything they touch. Where is the Indian operating system if you are so smart?
-
Our bitching is going to do something: we already got visa increases stopped, next we're going to get you all deported. Wall St. gov't is waking up to the India fraud and you are all having your visas revoked. Head of FDIC wants Pandit out of Citibank. You frauds. Your day in USA is over.
-
And remember one thing, none of your bitching is going to change any darn thing, so get used to seeing more and more Indians join the American workforce in the coming years
-
Haha what a joke you are, no wonder none of those companies would ever take you on board, because you are a good for nothing middle aged loser who has lost his job to a young India immigrant, hahahah, how is the unemployment paycheck coming now a days??? lol
There are more than plenty of Americans who can do these jobs. Call it a quest cheap labor or legalized discrimination, but companies are bypassing Americans for these jobs.

I can believe it. I used to be a consultant who was a staunch supporter of Microsoft technologies and avoided Linux. Now? I am writing software using PHP and Perl script on Linux boxes. It's reaching a point where it is just not worth it to try to stay up on the latest Microsoft technologies. Plus, Microsoft's quality is going downhill with all of its outsourcing. I am becoming an avid Firefox user because Internet Explorer is turning out to be a memory hog that locks up frequently.
