;-) No buses yet, not really having a go. I have a vid of the guided bus route, cycling, it is lovely and smooth, though I was told its started to chip and crack after the frosts. What's the gravel like? I had hoped the cycle track would be nice and smooth too. It would have made it easier to get into Cambridge using it.

Yep :). It is a slightly curious layout, and does catch the odd car, since they see the nice big No Motor vehicles (with some exceptions) sign for Kings Parade, so then assume that Benet Street is fine. :)

Ah thanks, that will save me a ton of time. I notice cycles go down there all the time, but also the odd car. Especially big 4x4s. :)
I thought it is just because the signs are so hard to spot.
Does that mean we can cycle all the way to Corn exchange along this road?

They were cycling from Trumpington Street onto Benet Street. Trumpington Street is two way. Benet Street is technically two way, but Motor vehicles aren't allowed (so cycles still are) to enter from Trumington St/Kings Parade (due to the pair of no flying motorbikes signs as you enter the road).
At least you recognised that motor vehicles aren't allowed through the "no motor vehicles" signs, which is a big problem, since people are used to seeing "except for access" underneath.

asumazilla, which road is that? Not a cycle contra-flow?
I see they are cycling on the guided bus track, tsk. :)

At 1:40 you are all going the wrong way against the one way system. I don't think there are any road markings for cycles there, altough everyone seems to go that way.
Some of us were riding on the guided bus ways. My excuse was I needed a flat and smooth surface for filming.
But there are no busses running yet are there? Once running I don't suppose cyclist will ride on those smooth strips of concrete.
