to be honest, i had an itouch when the ipad came out and soo made fun of it. I bought an ipad for my mom for mother's day but she had already bought one so i was tempted and opened it and so kept it for myself. great decision on my part! the thing is cool but you don't know it till you own it

Woz is the man, but I think he is a bit short-sighted in this case. This was the difference between him and Jobs. Woz sees what a device can do now, but Jobs saw the potential for the future. Lots of people by now are using iPads as MIDI controllers, beat editors, etc to make music. Artists use Brushes, Sketchbook Pro and many other apps to create stunning work. Wanna bet Adobe is working on a Photoshop "touch" for iPad? Ipad is BOTH a consumer and creation product.

@parishj3 I thought the same thing. I had installed a Mac Mini in my van for my entertainment system\computer. I can now edit audio\video in the van then straight to the iPad. I can do presentation's away from any work site or home now. I'm still trying to figure out how to use it as a monitor so it can be wireless and ditch the cable. It sure would make it that much more useful to get a tablet\monitor\keyboard\touch mouse in one item.

To be honest, I love my iPad. But I think the only way to use it at it's full potential is by having Internet access. It's way better with it then without it. Also, having keynote and productuion apps make it an extraordinary device. and also having Netflix and other movie watching apps make it an awesome device. Take those things away............ Idk what tha he'll to do with it ahhaha
What he basically says is that the I-Pad is for consumers, not for creative people.
