No the scorer was never offside, even from the preceding play where the goal keeper claimed the ball, he was onside then. The goalkeeper the rolled out the ball (that's a pass the keeper doesn't need to kick it), he nabbed the ball and scored, he wasn't off-side.
You are only offside if the ball is passed to you (or towards you) by one of your own team-mates when you are in an 'offside position'. Simply being in an 'offside position' does not constitute an offside offence.

I remember that the referee discussed it with the linesman, and it stood because Dublin's momentum had took him past the goal, and he hadn't attempted to gain from this intentionally.
