Dog AT AT Costume

I made this for my Mini-Pinscher for Halloween as he has about the same size and profile as an AT-AT. It is made out of picture backing board, hot glue, a sharpie, pillow stuffing, and my skin (I used a real scalpel to cut it out, plus the hot glue took a chunk of my skin off as well).

aw, sorry that that VW ad was so similar and you're sad about it! if it makes you feel any better, I hadn't even seen the ad, and I still thought of your doggie costume so came back again to watch your vid :), after which I looked up the VW ad to see what was going on. @djm0813 I can understand how you feel that way. What I am fighting for is recognition. I am the little guy here. VW is the Corporate monster that takes what ever it wants to make MORE MONEY. All i wanted to do was make people happy, you should be on my side.

I am fairly positive that VW pays Lucas Films royalty for the use of the costume concept. If anyone is in violation of the use of a concept or "ripping" someone off it would be you. In fact, you are lucky your video has made so little of an impact that it hasn't been brought to the attention of Lucas-films. As someone who works for the Patent and Trademark office, VW isn't in the wrong for using a concept that they pay for, but you technically are.

I'm sorry, I understand you feel ripped off but its hypocritical you don't give credit to Star Wars or Lucas films what so ever in your description. Shouldn't they get a piece of your income you make from putting google ads on your vids according to your logic? I'm sure most people who found this video put in a Star Wars reference (AT AT) rather than dog costume.

@flippycheese just stop being an attention whore. like I said you weren't the only one to do this or even compare dogs and AT-ATs, even if your dog is the one that inspired them (i doubt it because what came to mind when i saw the commercial for the first time was one made by Katie Mello which is also many magnatudes better than yours) it differs from yours so much you would get laughed at.

@flippycheese So if Volkswagen adds the tiniest print to the end of their commercial, "We're sorry that all of you individuals who made an AT-AT costume for your dog don't receive nation-wide recognition.However, we paid for ours so suck it" you would be okay with that? That's what you are aiming for? Everyone, in the history of AT-AT dog costumes, to get recognition?
