From "Animated Tales of the World" a Greek Myth Story: Persephone

"Only then will I make the plants blossom again. It will seem like a miracle and everything on earth: People, Animals, Birds will know that my Persephone has returned.

And until then, the wind will blow and I shall cover the Earth...in Snow" - Demeter: Goddess of the Earth, Agriculture, Harvest, and Forests.

When the leaves fall from the trees, I know that you must go. So, while you are away my love. I'll cover the earth with snow. The wind will blow with the icy breath, each day while we're apart. But, thought of Spring and of your return, Is safe inside my heart. Persephone, Persephone, I'll know that you will return to me, Persephone, Persephone, my love...Persephone, Persephone, I'll know that you will return to me, Persephone, Persephone, my love. An amazing song :')

7:53-- In ancient Greek culture, it was a tradition that once a woman married, she tied her hair behind her head. This is where the phrase "Taking her maiden's head" comes from.

Technological Hades and Persephone weren't incest. They were uncle and niece which wasn't an uncommon marriage. And when the gods started Zeus was the only one who married his sisters be wise there was no one else to marry. The rules were different for men and gods too.

Incest was strictly forbidden in ancient greek and roman society. But the laws of men are hardly the same of the gods.

This story was very weerd. I mean, not the story line for I knew it, but the sentences they were saying, their voices and faces... like in a creepy dream or nightmare, I don't know... like they were demons, does anyone think so too?

Well, it was a different time. I guess that the idea of incest (sexual relations with your immediate family) wasn't thought of as wrong until Christianity became popular. Although, at least none of the gods had relations with their children/parents

absolutely! hheheh what is more weird is the fact that persephone's mother is demeter and her father is zeus. But demeter and zeus are brother and sister... and zeus is hades brother... which makes persephone hades niece. So technically... persephone is an incest child married to her uncle... now THAT is weird LMAO =P

It must be like one big episode of Maury up in Mount Olympus. Six of the 12 olympians are his kids and all from 5 different mothers LOL! :P

it IS for a child audience. I don't think they would tell kids that Zeus was a promiscuous bastard who humped pretty much every female goddess or human? hehehe =P
