The Carioca's we did in Track practice are alot different and alot more intense. In every other roation we were supposed to try and almost jump over our other knee. It was ment to build leg muscle, balance, and to help with jumping over the hurdles.

These are great exercises! Seriously tho anyone who really sits down to think about it can make up a million different plyo movements. Its important to not make burning calories the primary goal because like 95% of people who do end up getting fatter and quitting. google "your fit assist" cuz it explains more

Weight lifting, and then running after you've built some toned muscle mass, is a far more effective way to lose fat than these wimpy exercises.
Yes, women SHOULD lift weights. Don't believe the old stereotypes that only men should.
