If it wasn't for people like Miliband I would have absolutely no faith in politics. How refreshing to see such a young goodlooking intelligent politician. I can now sleep at night knowing the future of this country will be in the safe hands of Brown and Miliband for the forseeable future. How the Tories could even contemplate getting in I'll never know.

Another liar climbing the greasy pole of politics, and this enviroment support mentioned above is indeed noble but you just know that the big parties here see it as another tax to milk the herd:)

Good for you on pointing up BBC bias! It's about time they were taken to task. Check out "BBC Reporter Loses it on johnalexwood's site for an example of BBC impartiality.

eddspin1 i think before you criticise others for their "decent English" you ought to take a closer look at your own "u have no idea what the frigg your". I do however completely take your point on the "plebs" and their ridiculously childish and pathetic comments about the very beautiful David.

This is another New Labour actor. Egg him!!

with all that blinking, he should be voted for as prime minister, as a gesture towards inclusion for people with aflictions; a bit like that disabled guy in Big Brother.
Cheers.

He doesn't seem ridiculously intelligent to me. For example, at 1:57 he twice fails to pronounce the word 'part' correctly, and his speech is generally garbled and imprecise. His behaviour is also not that of a legitimate authority figure; he blinks continually, pulls foolish facial expressions and speaks lacking charisma as if a commoner.

I dont believe this was a 'gaffe' at all, he was just making the point that people are very retrospective when looking at politicians and saying "wasn't it better when". He didn't slate Gordon Brown and i think it's naive to think so.
David Milliband is a career politican who is joining his master brown in selling the uk further down the river with the EU, he supported spy cameras in wheelie bins and says immature things like "the world can be a scary place" in his speeches, it is with this geek as foreign secretary.

Indeed--good looks breeds faith in government, good looks allow citizens to sleep at night. We wouldn't wish to be kept awake by the spectre of ugly ministers, do we.
