You should use a shield to protect from overspray. Makes the job look unprofessional....

on this specific job we weed wacked the entire edge on both sides of the drive way once the sealer dried becuase that is what was agreed on with the customer but yes a shield in place is a good way to have sealer not go where it doesnt belong thanks for the comment!
