i own a compaq lte 5000 and 5100 and the biggest hard drive out of the 2 is 2.33 gb and cover that was discussed was the hard drive cover for the laptop and the compact disk drive is the so called cd player what was next to it was the hard drive and the cover for the hard drive can just pop right back on nice and easy and what is next to it is the battery. The switches on the side of the compaq are for ejecting the "cd player" and the battery.
