I assume a matrix number difference could "tell which version I have".

Most likely true, however, I just heard of an easier way - The short version says "Side A" on the label, where the long version does not say "Side A". I have the short version, and this is confirmed true.

Is this supposed to be the short version that you have, or do you have a different copy that's the short version in addition to this one? You showed us about 75% of the label, and I didn't see "Side A" in that portion. The introduction here seems fairly long. Is there an even longer one? And if so, and if this is the short version, does "Side A" appear on the segment of the label (the left side) that you didn't show us?

This is the long version with the long instrumental intro.
The label does NOT say "Side A" on it.
I do have the short version, and on that version it says "Side A" on the label.
That seems to be the easiest way to determine which version you have by simply looking at the label.

Pore ol' hippie! Everbody givin' eem a hard time. Signs everwhur tellin' eem, basic'ly, ta git lost.
Dang restaurant wouldn't let eem eat in ees tie-dyed tee shirt. They'da wanted too much fer th' grub anyhow. Ol' boy prob'ly found eem a li'l ol' Mom 'n' Pop place that would go on and feed eem. Left ees last dime fer th' waitress.
Finally seen a sign that welcomed eem, so he went in, heard th' sermon and prayed awhile. Put a "thankee" note in th' offrin' plate.
Good ending for a hard day!

This reminds me of the song named "ARIZONA" by Mark Linsay. Anyone notice similarities?
