The new Jagdpanzer in the multiplayer persistency mod "Europe in Ruins: Reinforcements" for Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts.

It basically is a StuG with a panther gun.

Visit the webpage www.europeinruins.com

Jagdpanzer IV was created by:

Pojarsma: Modeling.
Slayerknecht: Skinner.
Tankdestroyer: Modeling and OE coding.

  • how do u play and use EIR looks like good fun

  • You need a version of Company of heroes, preferably including Opposing Fronts.

Visit the link in the right info box.

It's a multiplayer only mod though.

  • Mmmm... Jagdpanzer IV + Sdkfz250/8 (75mm) :-P They're a very deadly couple, the "Bonnie & Clyde" of Western Front ;-)

  • Great modelling of the Jagdpanzer! Even shows the rough lines of the armor plates and welding. Great job, cool video and music :-)

    *****

  • A panther gun bouncing off a sherman?

  • i think the last 1500 units got the 75mm L70 from the panther........which was the most efficient gun in the whole war..........ok flak 88 L71 might have been more powerful.....but the panther gun had a special reloading system from skoda. which made it very easy and quick to reload besides most tank experts say that the 75mm L70 was nearly as powerful than the russian 128mm of the IS2

and on medium distances the panther gun was even stronger.....

  • @PraetorianMan this one in the movie is a jagdpanzer IV/48

the later version with the longer barrel is the Jagdpanzer IV/70

  • The earlier model (L/48) had a shorter barrel.

This one was the most used.

There came a later one with the L/70 high velocity gun but that one wasn't used as much as this one.

  • Awesome unit, but I thought the later versions (with the panther cannon) had a longer barrel than that. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Jadgpanzer IV's with shorter cannons like that were earlier models, and the cannon was a different model than the one in the Panther.
