  • oi dick head how much is it?

  • @hazdrums1989 discontinued. you can't get them in europe.

  • That thing looks interesting, sort of like an MPC ot SP but for video. What format(s) does this save the video in, and are the clips compressed? Can you export to something like .AVI or .MOV? Thanks.

  • its uses its internal Mpeg2 compressor but you can't export the files out

  • My friend you need to learn video terminology if you'r going to do credible video reviews. For instance a "fade" is a lighting or audio term. With video the term is only used if you fade out such as to black. If it not a dissolve then it's a wipe or a 3D transition. As this box only does dissolves you may wish to point this out unless it does provide transitions other than dissolves even switches which are called cuts.

  • yes. Someday they WILL make a video MPC, or I hope ELECTRIBE!

  • Electribu- i too had that problem- what I do is over sharpen the clip before importing it- works great. of course that means you cant sample directly from the DVD- but thats a small trouble compared to the sharper image you can get with a program like FCP? hope that helps.

  • when i sample with this machine the image once is sampeled by the kaptivator have to be nice and clear, like when you see the direct input, or the image when is sample loose queality and look a little soft or blurred, because thats hapen when i sample with my kaptivator, how i can sample better?

  • hello, i have a problem with sample ont he kaptivator

when you watch the dvd through monitor 1 before you sample it, the signal is untouched, so more or less dvd quality.

when it has been sampled the kaptivator has transcoded it to it's native compression its look blured or soft.

this is about the only thing that troubles me about the kaptivator: the sampled image is in my experience much less sharp than the original image.

what can i do for sample correct?

    thank you

  • i am wondering what kinds of mix/wipe patterns there are between A and B (and the external input). does it support luma/chroma-key for the various channels???
