This is a video I made about a mechatronics project my mates and I worked on, all faulty (under-filled) jars are removed off the turntable... Enjoy!! :)
(I am a n00b in the video making business, constructive criticism welcome)
@shuwukong lol nothing that intense, just IR/capacitive sensor and you set the range to the level of the filled jars so when you dont get a detect you know its a underfiller jar
I am starting mechatronics engineering studies at Swinburne (Hawthorn Campus in Australia) on 28/02/11 and they have just opened up a new multimillion dollar building with heaps of new equipment in it. I looked at electronics engineering, mechanical engineering and software engineering but mechatronics compined all those fields into one that perfectly fits what I want to do. Looking forward to it (except the advanced maths stuff).
@TheEvilHeaven well its rarely found in the states but out side there are more then expected, such as england, Australia, and a few more. in the states well georgia, and texas in tstc has a associates for it as well. but mainly mechanical engineering has the main part of it. its your decision go for the whole degree or just a peice of it. good luck.
@prankcalls420 you can use inductive sensors, they are not use any computer program they use relays and electro Valves, and there is no code interface...they use 3/2 normal opened usher, and hey just connect cylinder to a metal arm...
With a mechatronics degree what job can you get? ( what area)
Do you get paid a lot?
Sorry for the english
