A self-referential song in honor of Douglas Hofstadter, whose new book, I AM A STRANGE LOOP, is about our concept of "I." He proposes that our consciousness comes from our ability to be conscious of ourselves; that we are the product of a strange self-referential loop. This song is built entirely of loops and feedback, and ends with a re-recorded version of itself.
@FearThisChannel Only partially, and not even that. We are far from even scratching at the surface of how consciousness is possible.

Did Douglas Hofstadter really explain EVERYTHING about consciousness, or did he only explain it partially?

Nice work Ken. Have you read any Nicolas Bourriaud - he's a French art theorist / art critic / philosopher, and he has theories about art and meaning that would connect nicely with this song.

It is my understanding that recursion is Eternal, it is Golden, and also Braided..... Very interesting...I am Godelling Bach to my study of M.C. Escher after i post this comment. By the way, Larry says to say "Hello to Ficara for me". So, Hello to Ficara for me. Hello, Ficara. Interesting....
