@HotKit this is a unique pretty song that I first heard when I bought this album in 1971,,,, it was my favorite album that year and years after!! Susan is back to performing ,, in British Columbia.... there are videos here of those performances! well thanks mrrayjd! for posting this

I have had this song on my Ipod for a while know and listen to it every day. I would like to know the background of the song? What a remarkable gift she has. Only a hand full of voices like Susan's in the world. If she ever makes it anywhere near Idaho I will buy the first ticket.

@DLHUMB Thank you for your comments.This is one of the few songs that The Poppy Family recorded that was not written by Terry Jacks.The only background to it that I know is that it was sent by the composer to Terry on a worn tape and was sung with no instrumental accompaniment.Terry immediately saw the beauty that Susan's amazing vocals could bring to the quite stunning lyrics.

Truly the voice of an angel. Thank you. (and the beauty of an angel as well !) I've been listening to a lot of Poppy Family stuff on Youtube and Susan's voice is just amazing - her diction phenomenal - something quite a few "singers" nowadays could try to emulate (but I doubt they could match). The bit starting at 1.23 is just beautiful. Do you think you could send her to Australia for a tour?
