It took me 5 weekends to get a stock ZX10 to run 9.5's-9.6's consistantly (and I'm a girl). Someone is mistaken about the Suzuki's though...the GSXR 1000 is much more predictable during the launch. It only took me 3 passes to run a 9.43 on a GSXR 1000 in Prostar configuration (which is nearly stock, no quick shifter, 3 inches off the ground, no ballast...look up the rules if you are interested). I prefer the GSXR :)

It's great that you prefer the Suzuki, and you know how to ride. However; I was just sharing this video because I thought it was kind of cool. I realize there are faster people out there, as you pointed out. I currently run 9.9s most of the time, 1.65 60' times, and I weigh 200 in leathers, not bad for a stock bike with a strap. I know what Prostar configuration is, and it allows way more mods than I have.

@jnpowell914 only way your stock zx10 will run 9 is if the throttle gets stuck and you fell off at quarter track post ur vids of your amazing feets on ur bike

10R can do 10.0 in stock, it did ZX9R in 98 already, anyway i did my best on ZX9R 10.98 and now on ZX10R 10.36, still having bad launch, but the bike has almost 60000 km ODO and was raced on circuits and traveled in winter on salted roads, always wheelies etc. so I say ZX10R is very good bike though :-)

the 03-04 zx10's had high 9's stock with a pro rider from all the mags i belive it still is the fastest 1/4 stock liter bike

its hard to get a busa in the 9's bone stock so for a 400lb crotch rocket i think kawi knows whats up on a str8 line not so sure whats goin on with the track????
