my deskop got 1.5GB ram now, i used to have 512 MB in the morning but i took some old RAM out off my old PC's and tada now it got 1.5 GB ram! so amazingly fast

i have windows 7 in mine and is the same
ACER ASPIRE ONE AOA150, I only have 1gb ram and its ready to work in only ONE MINUTE! XD
i recommend you to change it to windows 7, yours one with 1.5gb of ram it could even be better than mine

do you have to change anything on the inside when upgrading from XP to vista?

If Vista isn't allowing you to change the screen resolution then download and update your video driver.

how hot does this get running vista do the fans spin very fast, and could you play older pc games ok without lag with vista? i no xp is ok the run games

I'm running windows 7 on mine. You can find the webcam drivers on the acer site. Use the drivers for the Aspire One that uses Vista.

how can it run vista ultimate when the acer aspire one only has a tiny 8mb integrated grafix chip and ultimate requires a minimum of 128mb grafix card?

It's a 256mb integrated card, not a 8mb.

the aero stuff didn't work out of the box i need drivers

Install the drivers from the Intel website. Search for "GMA 950" drivers.

Dude what did you have to do to get Aero to work on it(or did it just work)?? I wana get one but not if i can't get it to work

Aero works out of the box. No need to make any tricks, just install the video drivers and you will have it working.
