@northernsmile Tony Blackburn still uses this jingle on Radio 2 as the host of pick of the pops. No disrespect to Dale Winton (took over from the much missed Alan Freeman) but this show needs a legendary DJ front man and Tony Blackburn is perfect for the job. He does the show in his own inimitable style complete with the corny jokes. Great stuff.

too much on your tower (its great)
music hour music hour by hour up-to-date music hour wonderful BBC.
Was never quite sure what all that was about but remember hearing it regularly as a jingle on Radio One.
