Looks like a MD88

@Pandacapricorn Of Course, and of course I have been to Orange County International a.k.a John Wayne Airport
-
On operations from runway 19R a steep climb is required to allow for a power reduction at about 500–700 feet for a quieter overflight over the city of Newport Beach. For 19R departures a left turn after departure to 175 degrees allows for a passage over Newport Beach within the confines of the noise abatement profile.

@thebestjustin100 US Airways Express (Mesa) going to Phoenix Sky Harbor
-
@travelsonic im guessing air traffic control had them flying level at 2:50 instead of climbing and at their altitude they can't exceed 250 knots so they really had to pull back power to keep under that speed
-
@travelsonic I was recently on a southwest flight and the flight attendant told me that this city has some type of noise ordinance and the airport complies by killing their engine shortly after take off. I'm not sure exactly what she meant by almost vertical take off and killing the engines but I would have died in that flight if they did that to me
