I created this plaque to be used for an online raffle for Hope For Broken Angels
https://hopeforbrokenangels.com

The dog whose portrait I used, is available for adoption and would desperately love to find a home. His name is Ringo,Ringo is a red nose, American Pit Bull Terrier that was rescued in January of 2010 by Houston police officer Michele Pesses and after a few days at the vet getting treated for his infected wounds, came to us to begin his rehabilitation process. When he was first seen he weighed less than 40 lbs and was wearing a heavy collar with weights attached and dragging a heavy chain that in his weak and emaciated condition he could no longer lift. He couldn't even lift his head to look up. He had multiple bite wounds from fighting and what looked to be a 22 caliber bullet wound in the top of his skull. He was terrified of people, no doubt because it was probably someone that he once trusted that hurt him so badly. But Ringo is a classic example of this breeds true nature. Loving, forgiving and extremely gentle. To read more about him and his tragic story https://hopeforbrokenangels.com/Adopt_An_Angel.html
