Little is known about the lady who last owned this house. Her name was Mrs Walter Tate and the house is named after her. It was made in Dorset and is said to have been modelled on an 18th century Dorset house. It is a complex structure which comes apart in several sections so that the owner could take it on her travels often long. Non si hanno notizie circa la proprietaria di questa casa, se non che il suo nome fosse Mrs. Walter Tate, da cui il nome di questa dolls house. Costruita nel Dorset, si dice sia la riproduzione di una casa del luogo del 18° secolo. Si tratta di una struttura complessa che si smonta in diverse parti in modo che la proprietaria potesse portarla con sé durante i propri viaggi, spesso lunghi, essendo per lei, la baby house, motivo di orgoglio e fonte di soddisfazione, tanto dal non volersene mai separare...
