  • Zigeunerweisen is such great skating music, but it requires two things -- speed and spark. Unfortunately, those are things Caroline lacks. Superb spins, but her jumping technique is as flawed as ever. The Axel continues to be scary, and needs to be a "can't-miss" element for a senior (heck, junior) lady. Too much of a delay before the 3Lo too (I assume it's her solo jump, but she improvised the combo after the shaky 3F). I have high hopes for this program though.

  • Right - without speed and spark this music just doesn't work. The lack of speed even makes her spins look bad and that's hard to do! Hate to say it but she may need to change her music... for the second year in a row.

  • @lawr17 Imagine Sasha skating to this music? Jumps aside, I agree that Caroline trying to skate to this music only amplifies her faults, not disguises them.

  • the begining of her program sounds like another popular instrumental song for skating and I'm rly wondering which one..... would you guys have any clue which song im talking about?

  • she did not improve... i mean e speed... But this vid is nice

  • I'm her neighbor, I just found out a couple years ago, that she was big.

  • I think she is cute!

  • She's a spinner like me!

  • There's not too muh of a departure from last year's program. She still almost always comes to a complete stop on the double axel. I was hoping for a big change like when Michelle started off her 1996 season.

  • Olympic gold medalist, Kerry Strug interpreted her floor routine to this music selection at the 1993 world gymnastics championships (she qualified to event finals).

  • I liked AP's version better.

  • I remember last year Caroline started off a bit shakey as well, but I think she'll improve as the season goes on :)
