true,
i got the honda bc it is the underdog, with only 200whp and 146 to the wheels with i/h/e tune clutch/fly running 8.89 N/A in the 1/8th and 13.73 in the 1/4 isnt to shabby if you ask me,,,
those are my personal best btw...

@widowedeight stock tires are 3 season tires not all season, and they aren't that sticky at all. And mine lasted 12k miles before I had to replace them.

'08 civic SI - 0-60 in 7.2, 197 hp, 139 lb·ft of torque (at 7000 rpm)
'08 cobalt SS - 0-60 in 5.5 260hp, 260 lb ft (at 2000rpm) Stock civic doesn't stand a chance, not a hater here but the truth. Thats why I purchased the SS, I wanted power and handling over the nicer suspension and interior of the Civic. Which I do admit, the Civic has a much nicer daily driver ride and interior. Something GM has never gotten right (interiors). When Honda gets some real power stock, Ill get one.

Having a tune on the turbo cobalt is hands down the ultimate upgrade performance wise. I love how they tuned it down, just for the gains you get with a tune. Awesome idea. The cobalt in this vid now has tune, cai, and muffler. I'll have videos soon from the track.

so it is stock..... any turbo cobalt without a tune still has bone stock hp and tq because the ecu has a learn down system. for example if you had turbo back exhaust, a bigger fmic, better ic piping, and a full cold air intake..... you gain absolutely no hp or tq..... sadly

stock tires are all season performance tires...... witch are made from the same compond used in drag radials..... so yes it will help
-
i dont think so

how does anyone know the 08 si s/c knew how to drive? or even the cobalt driver in this video? we dont.. none the less, the new cobalt are wicked cars for the price you pay for them.. i just like the element of surprise with my N/A civic

si holdin it down. lol =D
Hopefully I'll get my RH and DRs this month and ill have a vid or two from the track to post.
Ok let me break this down for you so you understand me, take some air out of the tires and warm them up alittle bit. it does do something... just by doing that i got a 13.78 run at 105 with a 2.2 60ft... stock ss/tc...

So what does 13.73 at 102 mean with 2.16 60ft?
