Digital Freedom - Consumers

Consumers - Consumers are not pirates. They are people who enjoy listening to music or viewing a video in the comfort of their home or whatever venue they choose. Digital technology provides consumers with the freedom to listen and watch wherever, whenever and however they choose. The big record labels and studios see every consumer as a potential pirate, and therefore want to limit consumer access to technology. They need to understand that listening to music and viewing videos on your own time, in your own place and in you own way is not piracy-it's freedom.
