"If Only" (Beauty and the Beast)

Out of all of the thousands of fanvids out there, my account got frozen. That's just wonderful. I was soooo incredibly proud of my number of views. It was a couple 100,000 just for this video. =( I was really really sad. All of the reviews I got from absolutely fantastic people were deleted. *Sigh* Ah well.

I made this about a year and a half ago. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite storylines, and I thought that the song fit in so incredibly well.

I know this will get asked a hundred times over again, but this song is from the movie, "Holes." Sad to say, you won't be able to find the song on iTunes or any other music downloader. It's a song that was only written for the movie, taking words directly from Louis Sachar's book. The only reason I had it was because I bought the soundtrack years and years ago when the movie originally came out.

This song DOES fit perfectly, I've always loved the song but I haven't noticed that before. Well I love this. The way you put it together looks like it was made for the movie..

Just a really lovely tribute to Beauty and the Beast matched perfectly to a song.

The Beast may probably resent it given his fight with the wolves, but I really like how he pretty much stands the lonely wolf crying out "if only, if only"--it just matches his more tragic roars (and according to stuff I've read, wolf anatomy was part of his design).

I was hoping, would you be able to give me a copy of this song, "If Only" by Fiction Plane?

Oh! Holes! I knew it better from the book they forced us to analyze in fifth grade. Why do they force us to examine books so in-depth? I've been thinking about that lately, because of the whole Scout vs. Ms. Caroline thing in To Kill A Mockingbird. Guess what I'm analyzing in school now?
